Good shout on the late stoppage Daz. Im thinking Roy will be tired come 8 when Calzaghe starts to get stronger.

I don't think Calzaghe has anywhere near enough power though to knock Roy out though. Also Bernard got real tired and Calzaghe never looked like doing much in terms of KO there.

Joe has more than enough power Callam, if he chooses to use it. Calzaghe is not the pillow puncher he's made out to be he just doesn't use full power these days because of his brittle hands.

When Joe sits down on his shots he's got very good power.

He doesn't have the confidence to use the power though...Joe has nowhere near enough power to knock Roy out in a fight situation.

He may have the power to knock Jones out like Tarver and Johnson, but his glass hands won't let him use it. I remember seeing Calzaghe hitting Eubank with some monster punches. As Joe's hands got worse, he transitioned into more of a speed puncher, peppering you with shots from different angles. I don't see Roy getting at all rocked by anything Joe throws at him.
