Default Small to face contender star

Small - takes on Curiel.
SMALL FACES CONTENDER STAR Anthony Small will face former Contender star Freddie Curiel in the headline bout of Frank Warren's Fourth Annual DebRA charity dinner on September 12.
The contest at London's Grosvenor House Hotel is sure to be tough but it's a prime opportunity for the current Southern Area light-middleweight champion to boost his world rankings.
Small (19-1, 13KOs), will be looking to avoid going the same way as Ross Minter, who was knocked out by Curiel (18-7, 8 KOs) in the first round of their fight in Newcastle last year.
Also on a special UK v USA fight card, top heavyweight prospect Derek Chisora will box over eight rounds, while 2006 Commonwealth Games gold medalists Jamie Cox and Kenny Anderson fight in six rounders.
They will all face American opponents.
