![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | its going to be a great fight between two tremendous body punchers...but i think margarito's size, strength and pressure as well as his ability to take punishment will eventually lead him to wearing miguel cotto down...i like margarito by late round tko/ko...i just think cotto will start trying to use his legs and boxing when he realizes antonio is the more physical fighter of the two,and cotto seemed to get fatigued in the later rounds against mosley who doesnt put near the pressure a fighter like margarito is going to apply... |

![]() | I was never a big fan of Antonio Margarito. He received a gift of a decision against Joshua Clottey. In his next fight he lost to Paul Williams and complained bitterly about the bad decision, even though it wasn't. Margarito overwhelms less experienced or less capable fighters with his volume. But against good fighters he doesn't look good. And now he's going against the best in the division. I can't fathom Cotto losing and I believe Cotto will knock Margarito out. |

| Moderator | My heart is for Margarito. But my mind is telling me Cotto. Tony looked very impressive in his last fight against Kermit. But so did Miguel in his destruction over The Contender's Alfonso Gomez. Cotto is the quicker, harder puncher. The guy is a flat of killer. And while Cotto plays the role of the beast, Tony's the machine. Margarito has no quit in him. He will out-work you any day of the week. And that's what I love about him. But this fight comes down to two things, who wants it more? And who's the better Boxer. We'll all find out this Saturday. I can't wait! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Im taking Margarito...I think Cotto is made for him. Cotto does not like to be pushed back and when he is his defence falls apart. I think Margarito will be the guy to exploit this. |

Cotto's boxing skills should be able to fend Margarito off on the way to a UD. However, if he fades like he did at the end of the Mosley fight, Margarito might be able to catch Cotto on the inside. Either way, it should be a great fight and I wouldn't be surprised if Margarito ends up winning. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I agree. The hype surrounding this fight is crazy. Did you catch the HBO Countdown show? Margarito's story is inspiring. He was 15 when he turned pro and was 9-3 in his first 12 fights. He had to fight the day after his brother was shot and killed. Heavy stuff. |
