I agree in principle though, i'd like to see him face a decent top 5 HW BEFORE Wlad.
Maybe a Samual Peter or Povetkin, maybe even Arreola.

Haye wouldn't be the first fighter ever to move up in weight and get a shot so i see no problem witrh him fighting for the belts wirh Wlad. Its a fight he'll win anyway, Wlads punch, clinch lean style just aint that of an elite fighter.

I am loving this news,

This won't be Hayes first fight there though. He KO'd Bonin in 1 round last year at HW and will fight at heavyweight in November. Go HAYE!

His last fight was Enzo but before he fought Mormeck he fought Bonin in his HW debut,

David Haye v. Carl Thompson

This is the only setback of David Haye's career. In his ninth pro fight, David Haye took on highly respected Carl Thompson. After controlling the early rounds, Haye was caught by a Thompson right hand and sent to the canvas. Haye got up but his corner threw in the corner after Haye ate a few more right hands. His defense of the right hand may to his downfall if he fights Wlad. But still, GO HAYE!

He did. The Bonin fight was before the Mormeck fight, he won TKO 1. If you look on youtube the entire fight is there
