A ten-round local showdown will precede Antillon-Rosales. In a battle of local southpaws, New Mexico’s top two welterweights will collide in a ten-rounder. Ray Sanchez III (21-2, 15 KOs) of Albuquerque and Joaquin Zamora (15-2, 10 KOs), who just lost his No. 8 WBC ranking due to a year’s inactivity, will fight for local bragging rights in the televised co-main. Unbeaten Puerto Rican Argenis Mendez (11-0, 7 KOs), Las Cruces, N.M. sensation Sammy DiPace (3-0, 3 KOs) and teammate Ricky Vasquez (2-1, 1 KO) are also slated to fight, opponents TBA.
