Former world champion Brian Viloria has accepted the position of the IBF making the Hawaiian boxer a mandatory light flyweight title challenger. Interviewed by the daily radio show “Sports Chat” Tuesday morning, Viloria’s manager Gary Gittelsohn said they are now dealing with promoter Bob Arum to finalize deal that will make Viloria the next challenger of 108lb champion Ulisses Solis of Mexico. In an earlier interview with the same Philippine radio show, Arum said he is planning a major card in Macau topbilled by Nonito Donaire, Jr. who will defend his IBF flyweight crown against Moruti Mthalane of South Africa with the Solis-Viloria serving as an undercard.
