Undefeated World Middleweight Champion Kelly Pavlik (2nd from left) arrives in New York with (L-R) trainer Jack Lowe, father Mike Pavlik and manager Cameron Dunkin Monday night. Pavlik is in town for a press conference at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill Tuesday for his upcoming 12-round Light Heavyweight showdown against four-time world champion Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins. Promoted by Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, in association with Caesars Atlantic City, Pavlik-Hopkins will take place Saturday, October 18, at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall, and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View.

Really looking forward to this one, too close to call at the minute IMO.

Personally i think that Pavlik will walk this one.
Bhop is a fading fighter now and if Pavlik does not let him do the holding that he did in the Calzaghe fight he could very well get his first KO defeat.

Don't see Hopkins getting stopped, too good defensively.

Age catches up with everyone eventually and the accumulative power of Pavliks punches far outweigh that of Calzaghe......it could happen!!!

hehehe, i know that the defence and the punch is the last to go so ill give you that !!

BUT i still dont think Bhop will win this fight and as for the KO, you can never say never

There is also the question of whether Pavlik's power will go up to 170.

Yea, its not that big a step up though but i agree its still a valid question ..... roll on fight night eh?

my opinion is that Pavlik will be even stronger but we shall have to wait and see
