I would say that Machida won rounds 2 and 3, with Shogun taking the other 3 rounds. Fight experts and judges feel that you have to completely dominate a champion to win a belt. I don't agree with that philosophy, I think that Rua was more aggressive and landed more attacks, and had Machida in pain, and barely able to walk. I think if it wasn't a title fight, the judges would have not been biased and scored the fight differently.

I agree. When I was watching the pre-fight special, all he kept saying was how he was doing this for his Hispanic fans. Even his Father tried to cross the border illegally 7 times to "give his family a better life in the U.S." because Mexico is such a cess pool(my words, not his). That's what's wrong with the new wave of immigramts and particularly the Hispanics (Mexicans, Puerto Ricans and Dominicans especially)... no American pride. They wave every flag but Old Glory and expect real Americans to accept them? Freedom of speech is one thing, but there's also a little thing called Patriotism too, which none of them have for the U.S. They take every benefit this country has to offer, yet still maintain loyalties to their homeland. If Mexico and Puerto Rico are so great, then why don't they just stay there... they're ruining the U.S.
