![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Rampage Jackson has enlisted the help of a new secret weapon for his fight with Wanderlei Silva: Ricky Hatton’s strength consultant Kerry Kayes, the man responsible for making Rampage '20-30 percent' stronger. Jackson has one remaining month to train for “UFC 92: THE ULTIMATE 2008”, where he meets career nemesis Wanderlei Silva – the man who has beaten him twice before. So what’s changed since Rampage lost his title to Forrest Griffin? Well, the main two things are power and dedication. Training at Michael Bisping’s Wolf's Lair gym, Rampage has found a manager in Anthony McGann who has identified the potential to add new power to Jackson’s armoury. “You’ll see the best Rampage yet,” a confident Rampage promised. I’ve come to England to prepare with my new Wolf’s Lair teammates like Michael Bisping and Paul Kelly. “All they’ve got me doing is sleeping, eating and training. I am training four times a day for this fight - which is crazy! “The first thing my manager Anthony McGann did was take me to see Kerry Kayes in Manchester to talk to me about good nutrition and getting the right things to make me even stronger for a fight. “My last trainer didn’t like me taking supplements but (after talking to Kerry) I realise I will be 20 or 30 percent stronger in my next fight.” Kayes has worked with boxer Ricky Hatton for 45 fights, advising him on nutrition and weights, and there is a growing feeling in the camp that Jackson has never been anywhere close to the levels he is now reaching at Wolf’s Lair. “Rampage already has some great strength coaches working with him and I am just helping out with a few ideas here and there,” said the modest Kayes. “I’m also providing all the Wolf’s Lair fighters with free access to my CNP products. “I think you have to credit Anthony McGann at the Wolf’s Lair with bringing in as many experts in as many fields as he can to better his gym and his fighters. I think that’s the mark of a great trainer, admitting there are others out there who can add to what you are already doing. “Rampage is a credit to The UFC and he’s also one of the physically strongest athletes I’ve ever worked with. “Our diet plan for him will enable him to train harder and for longer than he has been doing and, come fight night, he will be like a 6ft 3inch 205lbs Ricky Hatton if you can imagine that!” For more info on the Wolf's Lair gym, go to Wolfslair MMA.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I remember watching a video of him sitting next to zab judah and zab was proper intimidated like a girl saying if they had a fight. anyway kerry kayes use to help hatton with his strength etc. the guy in 24/7 who said that's the highest amount of weights he has done ever. when hatton benched like 300 pounds or whatever. the thing i like about the ufc is that they go world wide for their matches. even people like rampage have gone to england ![]() so 30% stronger. believable who knows but it looks like it will be a good headliner.
