Re: My first fight
Skens interclubs are usually well organised as are Sandy Holts so enjoy it mate!
Are you fighting Thai/kB at Skens? if so!
I think the best thing for you to do is keep to the basics and don't get involved with a Clinch!
Hands high...elbows tucked in...chin tucked...Use small combinations...Loads of jabs...Doubling the jab with a low kick...Push kick- low kick- right cross...push kick- roundhouse...Plenty of inner calf jabs off the front foot!!
Keep everything tight and treat it as a Spar, you will be more relaxed that way and never throw a single shot, always look for a double with either hands or feet!!
Remember its a fight...even if your trainor tries to treat it as more of a training session and agrees with the other clubs to instruct there fighters to go easy!! Fuck it off and go for it,because your're opponent will, mark my words!
IF IT IS MMA..the same as above, but I have'nt a clue about what to do if it goes to the floor

Re: My first fight
The main thing is go over and over the small combinations mate!! You can try all the reverse spinning back kicks,Elbows,Backfists and throws you want in general training..But on the build up to a fight keep things basic and drill the combinations!
