Mayweather needs to grow a set and fight his legit opponents not hide in "retirement" sending tear stained letters complaining about the non existant racism from HBO.

He is NOT a real Welterweight, can't you look at the division and realize this? Look at the size of all the other elite Welters. Even the ones around his height are bulkier than he is. The others have 4-7 inches on him, rofl.

Guy was a Super Featherweight for 6 years.

A lightweight for 1.5 years.

And a junior welterweight for 1.5 years.

9 years right there, in a career a total of 11 years long. His last fight was essentially a junior welterweight showdown with a non strict weigh in limit.

If he comes out of retirement he'll stick to at least the smaller Welterweights...all still bigger than him in Berto, Mosley, and Cotto. MAYBE Margarito cuz he's simply too easily for Floyd to exploit.

And hey, nothing wrong with a man walking away from the sport on top. That means he had brains. Better to live the rest of your life among haters healthy than live the rest of it like Ali and MANY fighters who had 1 or more too many fights do....

Oh I agree, but the way Floyd is so defensively sound there's a low risk of him damaging himself if he fights on a few more years. Floyd talked a big game, compared himself to the greats like SRL, SRR etc. but never delivered. He avoided even the fighters around his size range, Tszyu, Casamayor, Mosley and most recently Cotto so that excuse doesn't stand up. If Floyd couldn't cope with the challenges at welterweight he shouldn't have held the title hostage and called the rest of the guys bums that he was scared to fight. Who was he kidding?

Floyd called out Mosley way back in the day (when Mosley was #1 lb 4 lb and Floyd was just "pretty"), Mosley wasn't interested.

Casamayor lost to Corrales and Castillo (who Floyd already beat), Floyd moved up to Tszyu's division for a bigger fight.

The Tszyu fight was being built. Then Ricky Hatton ruined it.

Cotto isn't on Floyd's level, never was never will be. Cotto never called out Floyd, never really wanted it. If Floyd ever needs a tune-up fight when he comes out of retirement he'll be sure to call Miguel up.

Floyd talks trash...he is however smarter than believing the trash he talks. He didn't think the Welterweight division was a bunch of bums.

You're right, Casa did lose to Corrales (the guy that was badly weight-drained and about to go to prison when Floyd beat him) and Castillo (the guy who beat Floyd clearly and was robbed), but this was long after Mayweather had left the division. I nearly forgot he avoided Freitas aswell. Then he did very little at 135 after he avenged his unofficial loss to Castillo, and moved up to 140 where he did even less. He'd plenty of time to fight Tszyu before Hatton beat him, although going by his track record it's highly likely he would have bypassed him to hand-pick easy options elsewhere. Floyd did call out Mosley (whether he had the intentions to fight him or it was a publicity stunt, we'll never know). Mosley didn't want the fight at that time, and offered to fight him again and again and Floyd laughed and called him a sparring partner (LMAO).

And your Cotto being a tune-up fight comment is hardly worth a response considering he's a big reason Floyd is hiding in retirement right now.

I didn't even touch on his reign at 147! I'm not a hater (well maybe a little bit, but for good reason) I just call it like I see it. If Floyd came out of retirement tomorrow I'd watch him fight, even if it's against washed up fighters. I appreciate his talents, I'm just not a fan.
