Carl Froch will meet Arthur Abraham in the Super Six World Boxing Classic on October 2 in Monaco.

The Nottingham "Cobra", who lost for the first time in his last fight to Mikkel Kessler, had threatened to pull out of the super-middleweight tournament if it did not take place in Britain.

However, he appears to have relented with victory essential if he is to progress to the semi-finals.

"I'm training hard already for 'King' Arthur," said Froch from his training centre in Sheffield. "I respect what the man brings to the table, but I'm going out there to knock Abraham's crown right off.

Not a bad choice of venue but I can't see it attracting much of a crowd.

I dont know mate...this a decent matchup and the place is full of Celebs and Rich People...it will do well!

Would have preferred to see Froch get KO'd in front of his home fans but oh well
