Thread: Mosley - Margarito should get his license

There has been a lot of debate over Antonio Margarito receiving a license to box on the pay-per-view undercard to Manny Pacquiao-Joshua Clottey at Cowboys Stadium on March 13. Margarito's license was revoked last February by the California State Athletic Commission. Prior to his fight with Shane Mosley last January 24, a plaster-like substance was found in Margarito's handwraps. Mosley went on to knock Margarito out. Instead of appearing before the CSAC, Margarito had applied with the Texas commission.


The man on the other end of the fight last year, WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley, does not agree with the critics who are calling for a lifetime ban on Margarito. He thinks Margarito should regain his license to box. Mosley blames Margarito's trainer, Javier Capetillo, for the entire incident.


"I definitely think he should get his license. I think the trainer, Capetillo, he's the one who decided that he wanted to put these type of things on his hands and probably influenced Margarito to go through with that. Even though Margarito should get a little fine which he did, the penalty to disappear should go to the trainer," Mosley said to The Rumble.

Mosely should shut the fuck up, we don't need to be lectured about cheating by a cheating cunt.

If it were upto me both Margarito and Mosely would have got lifetime bans.

Plus it only takes one offence to ruin someones career.

Guys what you have to remember is . Tony Margarito has NEVER been proven to have fought with anything illegal in his gloves. Shane Mosely, Roy Jones, James Toney, Evander Holyfield etc HAVE!!!!!!! been proven to have fought &WON!!! while under the influence of steroids. Where the fukk are their bans???????
