Thread: Spain are not going to win the world cup

I keep hearing people talk with crushing certainty and arrogance how Spain are going to walk the world cup.

To those out there who think it is going to be such a cake walk I say this;

Ok then I'll give you Spain and I'll take all the other teams and we can have a sig bet, a vbookie bet- all we have at evens.

And if you can find a way I am also willing to do a £100 cash bet at evens.

Now the question is...

Who is feeling lucky?

Even odds for one team to win it even if they are favourites is shite.

I'll have a 2 week sig bet you and let you pick two teams to my one (Spain) if you're interested.

On paper they're by far the best team in the world. I know it's up to them to prove it on the pitch but I don't see why you say the hype is out of order.

Why anyone would take a cash bet with you at evens when you can get 4/1 at the bookies is beyond me

Spain are a top side but i dont think they'll win the world cup, i reckon Brazil will take it, id like to see the Dutch win it after england though.

Ofcourse there is more hype about Our chances within our own Isles than there is for Spain.....its National Optimism and hope, are we supposed to write them off without a chance

We have quality Players and a quality manager so why should'nt we have the Hype, it is always the same from the other home Nations when we go into a competition...no support and complaints about the hype!
