Default Premiership team of last season.

I know a few of us on here follow real football and i thought this could be fun. Name your top 11 players from last seasons prem in any formation you like.

GK: David James - Pompey
RB: Bacary Sagna - Arsenal
LB: Patrice Evra - Man United
CB: Rio Ferdinand - Man United
CB: Jamie Caragher - Liverpool
RM: David Bentley - Blackburn
LM: Ashley Young - Aston Villa
CM: Cesc Fabregas - Arsenal
CM: Frank Lampard - Chelsea
FW: Cristiano Ronaldo - Man United
FW: Carlos Tevez - Man United

I put Ronaldo upfront because i thought Bentley was excellant last season and he deserved to be in it. Ronaldo played upfront a few times for United anywayz.

tom, that is blatant bias mate, how in the name of God can you name Tevez ahead of Torres, Adebayor or Robbie Keane even.

I had to choose between Torres and Tevez and Tevez was fantastic every time i saw him last season. He's got everything.

He's a big game player who scored big game goals.

Adebayor had a good first half to the season but fell away the second half, Robbie Keane i didn't even consider, he's not in the other three's class.

I tried to be as unbias as i could because by rights Vidic should really have been at the back with Ferdinand.

nonsense. Torres is the best striker in the premiership, one of the best in europe. Tevez while very good in his own right, doesnt come close to torres as a striker. Adebayor scored 30 goals last season, hes allowed a quiet patch.

Robbie Keane both outscored and had more assists than Tevez, so i would disagree about him not being in the same class, thats nonsense also.

They are different types of players Stephen, Tevez does more for the team and his all round game ****s on Torres.

I apreciate a player like Tevez or say Rooney more than players like Torres and Owen.

The money Ferguson spent on Tevez this year to get him permanent reflects the season he had last year.

I would replace Tevez with Torres going by last season, but Tevez is in the same class as Torres, no doubt about it. Last season he was thrown straight into the team without any rest after playing in the Copa America. He still had a great season. This season he's been rested and had a full pre-season with us and he looks the business. That's why we'll be paying the the excess of 30+m when we buy him permenant. He's proven world class. Adebayor? Let's not go there! He had a hit and miss season but the amount of goals he scored probably gives him the nod over Tevez for team of the season, but it's night and say with them in terms of quality. Robbie Keane? I know he's your fellow countryman but he doesn't come close to Tevez. I would have Flamini in that midfield instead of Lampard, Flamini was outstanding last year. I'm surprised Wenger didn't go all out to keep him at the club.

I considered Flamini in the team Ulster because he complimented Fabregas well but i went with Lampards goals instead.

It's a very solid list you have there, but I personally thought Flamini did more for Arsenal than what Lampard did for Chelsea. Arguably Flamini was Arsenal's best player last season ahead of Fabregas and Adebayor. That's just my opinion.

I wouldn't argue with anyone who had Flaminni in there team, same with Torres.

Robbie keane has been banging in 20 a season for last few years, added to that about 10 assits a season. saying hes not class is bollox, regardless where he is from. However if he was a forigner or even english people would rave about him. Funny how most football pundits disagree with youse on that.
