i havent voted as its too close to call between Ali and Pele imo, both are instantly recognisable names to anyone who knows even the slightest bit about modern day sports and both are ambassadors beyond the sports arena

for the record,the real ronaldo, the original ronaldo, the ronaldo who ALWAYS delivered on the big stage in the biggest games,He was the best striker i have seen in my 27 years alive.

that says something given my love for Henry and Larsson, but Ronaldo was better than anyone ive ever seen, he had everything. a truely truely gifted player.

Primed he's the 3rd best Brazilian EVER and that takes some doing.

Ronaldo > C Ronaldo. I could go along with that.

Best striker ive seen in my 25 years though is Van Basten.

Ally and Gazza were the only rangers players i liked. I liked Gazza because he was just different class (he ripped us apart every time he plaid against us) and i liked Ally cause he scored that 30 yarder for Scotland against the Swiss at Euro 96. I was at that game and went off my head, i went down with my uncle in the hope of getting a ticket for the Scotland vs Englnd game but with no joy. Got one for that game instead.

For sure. But I'm saying that in the U.S., Soccer isn't very popular. I know in places like Brazil, Mexico, and the Latin countries, it's major.

Can't argue with that man, they're my two favourite Rangers players by far. I remember that goal, it was a great strike. Gazza's goal against Scotland was unreal, I bet you're glad you didn't go to that match now!

My favourite striker has always been Henry, he's a genius and he's got Arsenal out of trouble quite a few times with a moment of brilliance. A true legend.

Henry was first class but the team was built around him and everything went through him.

Thats not been the case with France or Barcelona though and the same could be said when he was at Monaco and Juventus.

Arenal IMO are a much better team without him now there football is much more fluent.
