I would say Sam Langford, in his time, but he wasn't a natural heavyweight and rarely, if ever, weighed over 185 lbs. Earnie Shavers, as well, IMO.

Jerry Quarry woud probably have been a champion is most era's apart from the one he fought in.

Razor Ruddock was also another.

Agreed C.J, these poor Russian champions would all be contenders right now. Ike would have crushed Wlad inside a round. He'd have ALL the belts right now.

Oh yeah, Big Ike Ibeabuchi was a monster. I thought he beheaded Chris Byrd with that hellacious uppercut when they fought. Can't believe he got up from that.

Dude was a monster Roland, his fight with Tua broke the compubox punches thrown record.

Still one of my all time fav fights.

Sadly Ike is a story of what could/should have been.
