![]() | Boxers get better as time goes on so i think Tyson will KO Ali in a few rounds. They look at the old fighters and study them and improve there technique and skills so they are better than the past boxers. The world is getting smarter not dumber. Like Jones vs Sugar Ray Rob. Jones would beat him with his unique style. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ive moved this thread to the history section mate, hope you dont mind. ![]() I get your point and agree with it to a certain extent bro. When it comes to fighters like Ali and SRR though i think they'd be elite in any era past or present. Ali UD, to smart, to skilled, to much heart. |

![]() | It fine i dont care were my threads are moved to. Im new to this so im just starting to understand i need to put my threads in the appropriate places. It depends what you call history and what you call general boxing talk. Umm yeh your right as well like roy jones will be a elite boxer 10, 20 years into the future. But i think Tyson power and good movement would let him duck under Ali's punches and work his body then come up to the head and Knock him out. It would be like Fraiser v Ali. Fraiser has the same qualities of Tyson there are both short and powerful and Fraiser did a good job on Ali. He couldn't see in the last rounds because Ali shut one of his eyes and he had a cataract in the other eye which was kept secret for a few years after the fight. Fraiser did so well, Tyson would defo finish the job. have you guys seen the video on youtube of Ali saying tyson would beat him. YouTube - Muhammad Ali Sugar Ray Leonard Mike Tyson talk show part 1 You hear at 3.18 minutes. Ali say tyson would of won. He said i was fast but if tyson hit me i would be out. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | in my opinion we would probably see Ali getting off the canvas to win this one. His psychological warfare would have Tyson frustrated and angry which would throw him off his game plan. Obviously if Tyson caught him there is the chance he would drop but Ali has a massive heart and would get up (IMO) to outbox Tyson for a majority or unanimous decision.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think the Ali who fought Frazier was a little past his prime, his legs and hand speed were not what they once were. Ali was right at the top of his game against Clevland Williams, that is one of the best showings ever by any boxer in the ring. Id say Tyson could very well beat the Ali that lost to Frazier the first time but i would pick the Ali that took Clevland Williams apart to UD Tyson. |
