![]() | I like Manny but Im not quite high on him like most in boxing. First off he beat two great fighters in Barrera and Morales but he clearly fought both at the end of there careers. I give him credit for the 1st MAB fight but MAB also had many distractions during his camp and I personaly believe he understimated Manny at that time who pretty much was unknown. By the time the rematch came around MAB was done. As for for the Morales fights Morales IMO had his last hurrah in the first fight when he beat Manny but after that he was clearly done it was obviouse afterthe Raheem fight that he was a finished fighter. Manny has beaten good fighters in larios, Velasquez and Ledwaba but the one great fighter that he did face who was at the top of his game at the time was Marquez and I like mnay thought Marquez desreved both fights. As for Diaz well he never belonged in the ring with Manny in the first place. Don't get me wrong i like Manny you have to be a bad muthaf&cker to stop a fighter like Morales regardless if he was in his prime or not but I just think he gets a little too much credit for those wins. |
